Opening Speech of “Bangladesh
Citizen Party-BCP”

Afternoon!
The
honorable guests, my colleagues, ladies and gentleman, It is my pleasure to be
here today at this meeting to opening a new political party. Today, I have
announced a new political party named “Bangladesh Nagorik Dal”, in English
this organization is known as “Bangladesh Citizens Party” for the present and
future democracy of Bangladesh.
The
fundamental principle of the “Bangladesh Nagorik Dal” is
center-right basis of political ideology combining elements of Bangladeshi Conservatism, Bangladeshi Republicanism,
Economic Liberalism, Bangladeshi
Nationalism, Democracy and Social
Responsibility.
The slogan is "All Power to the
People, Democracy is our Policy, Nationalism is our Faith, and Liberalism is our
Economy". The common slogan to the people is “Jago Janota - Gorbo Bangla”.
Meaning society should change as little as possible because we are not only
Bengali. There are many peoples of many nations live in this country.
Bangladesh is not only for Bengali but there are many peoples of many groups
united together to build up one nation. We are a new nation Bangladeshi. Bangladesh was
formed on the bases of nationalism, not religion. We are conservatives for our
nationalism, not religion. Religion is the
power of soul and Hindu, Muslim, Buddha, Christians all are equal. Bangladesh is a country of religious tolerance, religious
extremism does not exist. The country's secularism culture is very strong. We
have one country, one nation and proud of everyone here. All of our religions,
gender, cast and races to become the true patriots.
The official colors of “Bangladesh Nagorik Dal” are green and white. The emblem is
shapla. The logo of the Bangladesh Republican Party is the party emblem in the
middle of a red circle where upper side written Bangladesh Nagorik Dal in
Bangla and lower side written in English Bangladesh Republican Party with two
stars situated in both sides in a frame. Jute leaves are covered both sites
with attached five stars. The red field indicated the blood of those who died
for the independence of Bangladesh. The stars are represents light and
knowledge. The ratio of its size of the flag is 5:3, consists of a dark green
base in middle a white disc with the party logo. The white disc symbolizes the
bright sun over Bangladesh that is hope for a happy future. The green part
represents the country’s abundance of natural riches and fertility of the land.
The anthem of the Bangladesh Republican Party is the “Jago Jago Jago, Jago Ha
Janata, Bango Janata Jago, Deshpram Buka Dhara Shotto Shundora Jago”.
We, the people of Bangladesh in 1971
achieved our independence through the sacrifice of our valuable lives and founded the new country “People’s Republic of
Bangladesh”. Long-term dependability,
deprivation and discrimination in the society leads to the movement of
independence. Nowadays, some
people just have to use the power of freedom, there is no democracy at all in
the country. Now we are passing through a difficult political crisis in our
country. The politics of Bangladesh is the biggest problem which is not
controlled by qualified eligible persons. Moreover, paribartantra and
corruptions already have occupied all spheres of politics. The future of the people of this country has
been made uncertain and aimless because of exploitation, deception, disparity,
injustice, social degradation, corruption, terrorism, predominance of black
money, poor governance and criminalization of the society. Therefore, we
the people of Bangladesh, in order to form a more perfect union, increase
domestic tranquility, establish justice, provide for the common defense,
promote the general welfare and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves
and our posterity does obtain and establish, we have founded “Bangladesh Nagorik Dal”, in English is “Bangladesh Citizens Party”. We have started work from 2012 and
finally the party had founded on 1st December 2015 in a
meeting with the friends at Bangladesh Supreme Court, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
We love our motherland. We
want to be a self-sufficient country. We are the best nation than other countries of South East Asia.
We hope that all the peoples of Bangladesh keep mind for ever and ever. We want to united together to keep our culture,
our identity and our sovereignty to build up a golden Bangladesh. How we can secure a better future
for all. How we can build a better Bangladesh that everyone is proud to call
home. I believe in some simple things. Families come first then they are the
way, you make a nation strong from the inside and out. The spirit of
Bangladeshi conservatism and nationalism to lead the talented new generation
grow the true patriots in all religions, gender, caste and creeds who live in
Bangladesh. It has become our duty
and our responsibility to build up a safe, modern, prosperous, and humane
society for the future generation.
We love our country,
this is our motherland. Bangladesh had lot of hopes and aspirations. The people
expected that the leaders would raise their patriotism and productivities to
rebuild our motherland to fulfill the dream of a “Golden Bangladesh” but our
political leaders had always done much sweet-talking than actual deeds. If the
political history is evaluated then we can see that all the governments of the
present and past had always side tracked the major issues and created confusion
in the political atmosphere. The citizen is deprived
of access to basic necessities of life such as food, education, employment,
health care, clothing, housing and transportation and has been fallen a victim
to violence in society, breakdown of law and order, institutionalized
corruption. It is time for a change of Bangladesh. Therefore, we have launched a political party to mobilize people to
establish “Golden Bangladesh” from its present state of despair and to set it
on the path of attaining unity, solidarity, social justice and prosperity.
The “Bangladesh Nagorik Dal” is the true political party for present and future democracy
of Bangladesh. Forty four years has been passed since the independence of
Bangladesh. Repeated conspiracy blocked to grow the dynamic visionary
leadership in this country and stopped the development of the different
sectors. When the patriotic and popular dynamic leader would not be born, the
classical progress will be stopped in a country. At this time, the standard in
contemporary politics in Bangladesh is passing a very bad time. Prudent and
dynamic leaders need immediately in this country to address about the modern
democracy and solve the problems of the general people. For ever and ever
dynamic and prudent leadership made decisions to solution to the political
crisis in a country. But in Bangladesh there was always a crisis for dynamic
leadership. The “Bangladesh Nagorik Dal” is the true political party for present and future democracy
of Bangladesh. We hope that the spirit of Bangladeshi conservatism and
nationalism to lead the talented new generation grow the true patriots. Now Bangladesh is looking for a dynamic leadership for
politics to develop every sectors and the bright future of Bangladesh.
